I am a fan of the Takarazuka Revue. The Taka Revue is an all women theater company in Japan. It consists of five troupes with over 80 women in each troupe. It has been in existence for 98 years. Each time I update I'll link to a different video on youtube. Hope you enjoy it. You don't even have to understand Japanese to enjoy it. For lots of information about the Revue go to the TakaWiki


Studio 54 (2011). Fan Music Video Bow Hall Production.   This concentrates on the relationship between the manager (Koshino Ryuu) and Z-Boy (Asumi Rio)    .Even though Kiriya was the lead I think Asumi Rio stole the show.   She is ranked 3rd and always plays the young, nice, cute guy.   This time she was a villian, a rock star who treats women very badly.   This role was such a stretch for her and everyone has noticed how much more open she's become with her emotions ever since this role.   
Asumi Rio is an 8th year and has always been popular and has always had a gigantic fan club.   She will become the nibante (rank 2nd) when Masaki becomes the top star.

Elisabeth 2009 - Asumi had the Shinjin Kouen (Newcomer Performance) lead.

Demachi - Asumi leaving the theater and interacting with her fan club. Only her fan club members can give her letters or postcards. This compiles several days together.

Alice - Rehearsal for the Bow Hall production of Alice in Underground Wonderland. Asumi was the lead. Damn....no dvd was released for this production.

Truth - From the CD 14 covers. She is the first one to sing.
